Shanghai is Vishal’s most recently released album – and Bharat Mata Ki Jai is undoubtedly the show stealer in this one. Jhankar Beats is among Vishal-Shekhar’s first soundtracks, and it’s still one of my favourites.Tu Aashiqui Hai, in particular, is still a popular one but I also lovw Tera Muskurana and Suno Na. One of my favourite tracks from this year Vishal’s voice is absolutely lovely here. Of course, who could forget the other gems like Chammak Challo and Criminal? 9) Mar Jaiyan (Romantic) – Vicky Donor Bhare Naina was one of the tracks he lent his voice to, and it’s a great pick of the album. Ra.One is an album that Vishal composed, sung and wrote for. Can we see more, please? 8) Bhare Naina – Ra.One Vishal lent his voice for this fabulous track, and all I can say is, the Vishal-Vishal (Bhardwaj) combo is awesome. This song became an instant hit and is still a hot favourite today. As in, I couldn’t tell you how much – it’s still one of those that I turn to in my post-midnight melancholic states (I’m not the only one who has those, rights?) Thank God there are two versions of this song in the album – so I always have a pick! Vishal has also written lyrics for this album. The album has a number of other winners too: Tumse Hi Tumse is another one of my happy songs! 6) Bin Tere – I Hate Luv Storys In particular, I love the slow version of the title track, which was sung by Vishal. 5) Anjaana Anjaani – Anjaana AnjaaniĪnjaana Anjaani was one of my favourite soundtracks of 2010 – Vishal composed and wrote for this album.

And while this song most likely steals the show on this album, I also really love Aahista Aahista. One of the loveliest tracks of recent times. Such a happy, bouncy song – and this one Vishal has both composed and sung. You know how everyone has a list of “happy songs” they turn to when their mood is not so great? Jaane Kyun probably tops that list for me. Om Shanti Om is another fabulously composed album, and while Deewangi Deewangi was the chartbuster of them, I have a soft spot for this melancholic song. Tu Aashiqui Hai, in particular, is still a popular one – but I also lovw Tera Muskurana and Suno Na. Jhankar Beats is among Vishal-Shekhar’s first soundtracks, and it’s still one of my favourites. He and partner Shekhar Ravijiani are having a fabulous run in 2012 with some amazing Bollywood tracks, but Vishal doesn’t only compose music – he also sings and writes songs! For his birthday, let’s check out some of his best tracks: 1) Tu Aashiqui Hai – Jhankar Beats I firmly believe Vishal Dadlani is one of the best we have in music today.
